Rush is the informal term for Fraternity Recruitment. Every University with Fraternities and Sororities observes a rush period. This period is usually 1-3 weeks long and allows prospective fraternity members to get to know the fraternal organizations on campus. It is also an opportunity for us to get to know you!

For Sigma Chi, Rush starts at the beginning of the fall and winter terms and ends with our traditional Wine and Cheese a few weeks later. Please see the Event Calendar for more details on these and other events Sigma Chi is holding this term.

After the recruitment period, you may be contacted and offered a bid of pledgeship. This is an invitation to become a prospective brother of Sigma Chi.
